There is a link to locating an author's posts from his profile. There was once a mod that would let you look up an author's topics. That went by the wayside during one of our upgrades. However, I have found a work-around that will get you to a list of anyone's started topics. Use the link below and replace my name with the name of the author you wish to locate works of. I've tried it and it works.
search.php?keywords=&terms=all&author=h ... mit=Search
I think the original mod simply did that for you when you entered the name in a box.

In the new board configuration, click on the gear icon at the far right of the search box. That will open a dialog box with more options. In the first "search query" box choose "search for author" and enter the member's name in the field. Then in the "search options" box choose the "first post of topics only". Then click on "search" beneath that box. Voila! All topics by that author in a chronological list.
