Three poems this week:
Winner: Poem of the Week: July 15, 2007
The Uncertainty Principle
by preston
I have grown accustomed
To living on the edge of insecurity
Most days I spend quietly
Content to let life happen at it's own pace
The moments passing one by one
Offering themselves to me
Then moving on
With no clear expectations
Or regrets
For opportunities I might have missed
I am content
To bide my time
To pick and choose
Taking only what I need
And hoping that will be enough

pray for me]/b]
by nrip4life
lord i dont know how much more i can take
please open my eyes to you
your patience kindness humility
pray for me please that i can realize
that i can have the courage
to do whats right for the world
instead of what i want
and be grateful for what it..
please i need you i need me
i cant do this without you
please take my hand
help me guide myslef
never had a father barely a mother
never a constant home or friend
walking a path and i need your touch
open my mind please
so i dont fade out of your creation
by my own will and not yours
take my hand if anything is out there
beyond this world
because i cant help but feel i dont belond here
please im just....im just...walking alone
no matter how many walk with me with love
and i push them away in fear..
walk with me take my hand
allow me to be a witness
take me please
