Perhaps Volume III could be larger to accommodate the growth of the Pages in quantity and quality? How about a theme of Poetry of Life where chapters are dedicated to age groupings and their writings?

By the way, how are the sales doing in the previous volumes?

i have a suggestion for the next book........... i think we should let anyone who has already been in the book enter two or three poems for say....$10.00 and then fill in the rest with new people say ten or twelve who can enter maybe ten poems instead of the fifteen we usually do and instead of fifty $ they pay maybe forty$...........that way all of the older members still get to be in the book but we add some new meat

this is just my thoughts and my desperate attempt to make sure i make it into the next book!!!!!!! lol

Just an update:

Now that I am in my new house I am getting set up to become my own publisher so we can cut out the middle man that was taking all of the money.

I now have a sales & use tax license and have gotten a block of ISBNs assigned to Jera Web Creations as a publisher which I can use for the Poetry Pages books.

I set up an account at Lightning Source (the PoD printer that will print and distribute the books for me). I just need to fax all of the paperwork back to them (there is a lot!).

Once I am set up at Lightning Source I will be doing the Haiku book thats in progress as my first trial run at publishing the books myself. Once I get the process all figured out and the haiku book is done I will start looking into starting the next volume of the Poetry Pages books.

So look for it in the next few months!

at least one can list a body of work if anyone
steals a poem.

I went to that report and read it Berlie...pretty sad day when people steal other artists poem

I entered a contest before...when I first started writing I still have the book they put the poem in..but it cost me...nothing but a bunch of crooks is you ask me...I pray no one in here gets burned...

I think it is a scam....you'll probably end up paying for publication...instead of the other way around
