Room for Steve

Post by audiofool » Wed Sep 24, 2014 8:48 pm

I believe in Adam
And I believe in Eve
I’m inclined to think
There’s room for Steve

I believe in bubbles
I believe in soap
History shows us
If we cling to hope

It’s dark before morning
Light still finds a way
Tell it to me straight
My sweet Enola Gay

Adolescence passes
Time goes on and on
If the fates allow
We'll live to see the dawn

I rattled off some figures
She's duly unimpressed
“Must you prattle on?”
She took off her dress

I closed my eyes
I flew just like a bird
To a lofty peak
Where the magic occurred

An angel appeared
Above an ominous cloud
He said, “Have no fear”
I said, “Man, two's a crowd”

Innocence passes
Pride goes on and on
If your mind is open
You can spot the con

I believe in love
Baby, I believe in you
The spring in my stride
You’re the horse in my glue.

This is cool. Just quirky enough to tickle my fancy! It felt like a song to me

My name being Steve, well of course, I love this ditty.
Bric-a Brac

Death will be your final victory over life
Rejoice, for victory comes even as you live
Spread your arms and embrace the future

Glad you enjoyed it, Steve. "A ditty a day keeps the sanity at bay."
