About a Boy

Post by Mellen12 » Fri Jan 23, 2009 8:20 am

Grains of sand are the ends of time,
We shall never know the beckons drive
A course of dancing and music might take
Apart the flip switch of the tyrant's gate
For my heart has made the strong ones cry
But they won't ever hear my poetic lullaby
For a racing mind is an impulsive choice
We will never think about the voice
It says to be patient and wait things out
And I want to, but somehow I know not
The lights were dim and our voices hush
As batman kept through Gotham's dust
Feeling his heartbeat against my ear
I was hoping that time would disappear
Holding me close and caressing me too
My mind is made up and I like you!
"A woman with the courage to step out into the unknown, risking temporary loneliness for a shot at lasting joy, is more than a "single." She's singular. Instead of defining herself by what she lacks - a relationship with a man - she defines herself by what she has: a relationship with God." ~from Dawn Eden's 'The Thrill of the Chaste'

Dauntless the slug-horn to my lips I set,
And blew. ``Childe Roland to the Dark Tower came.''
