Wash away the rain of night,
Start the song oh so bright,
Cheer away quarrel and foes,
Who try to take you way too low.
But don't be afraid, I'm here to stay,
Lost inside my mind from so far away.
Here's to you, a song of hope,
Of dancing, making time to cope.
What you are need not be said,
But from the minds of those who've bleed.
Darkness creeping,
Shadows breathing,
Night to day, day to night...who knows?
What more need be said of your light
And those who wish you were more cold?
