normalcy is only the perception
of how we want others to be
a twisted lie, conjured from empty minds
seeking out that which is pure
trying to find peace and quiet
looking for something that makes sense
the concept was born and bred in ignorant heads
rising from the ashes of stricken brain
reality never kicks in, never slaps the face of fiction
some people live so normal
normally insane and as sane as humans can be
when the truth hits
it leaves only traces of past crimes
being normal is being insane
the only normal you find is the normal in
your head, the lies planted by generations
of ignorant sheeple
rise up and fight the average
dare to be abstract
and save this dying world

awsome poem i love your wording and composition and i agree insane is normal and the more normal someone is the more suspiciouse we are of them anyway. this is a great poem bravo!

nice, every one tries to be normal, but the truth is , no one is normal, what is ''normal'' any way, everyone is different, there is not one person thats the same to does ''normal'' even exist?great poem, well written.
