He Will Give You the Desires of Your Heart (from the pruning floor)

He is who put the dance in my feet
But you are the music who moves me
He gave me this tongue craving sweets
But you are the sugar I'm yearning

He put the desire in my eyes
But you're the only beauty I see
He made my mind long for all things wise
Yet it's only you I want to know fully

My ears, made to hear sounds, weak or strong
But with your name alone they are ringing
He filled my throat with many a song
But it's only to you I'll be singing

He filled my soul with a love overflow
But it's to you alone I'll give it
He put the very life in my soul
But you are the reason I live it

Interesting gordy.........if a woman wrote this, it could be written 'to God' about her first love.......just a thought......don't want to disrespect your poem.........oh wait.....I get it.....he is God and you is Jesus......or the other way around........oh wait......he is God and you is a wife..........I like this poem
