If there were these so called dark clouds
I would be the one to blow them all away
Mind if I lead the battle between life and death?
I don’t need any swords, shields, or armor
All I need is my soul
As I jump off the sky and sink towards the ocean of darkness
Further and further and further and further and further
Without a single breath--I die
Only to find my soul pass me by
Sinking further and further and further
Sink

I'm going to have to read this one over a few more times. The part where your soul passes by your mortal corpse and beyond, really grabbed my attention.
I'm a real lover of short pieces that manage to pack in plenty for me to think about. Even if it's just one image, if I want to ponder on that image after I've gone away from reading it ...
... thanks for the image.

Poetry is just the evidence of life. If your life is burning well, poetry is just the ash.
