Time
Break the clock,
It’s useless now,
In lurches, lulls,
Time passes by,
Uneven and distorted,
The sun sagging beneath,
The horizon,
Again I wait,
For the shadow to stop,
Dancing on my wall,
So I can sleep,
Without waking,
Seeing the clock,
Change its hours,
Again,
Another blow,
Tattered, tortured,
Praying for an,
End to this,
Insanity,
Nothing stays the same,
When someone’s gone,
Again,
Standing still,
In a portrait,
Shattered on the floor,
Tossed by time,
And worn by rain,
The clock won’t stop,
Annoying me,
Running,
Even though I’m,
All alone.

The sun sagging beneath,

I love the Avatar.
How about "Be an optimist.... kill a pessimist"?
Nice poem for you to drop in our laps. How is school treating you these days?

Entering the sanctuary of my mind may lead to perils of unknown magnitude.......... hold on and embrace the ride. Feel the tolls as we pass from existance into my sought domain of twisted reality. -negatv: 5/05-
If I changed anything I have done in my life I wouldn't be me. Personally, I kinda like me. I'm an asshole, but I'm my kind of asshole.
Friends are what help me guide myself through life. I just have to find the right direction first. -negatv- 10/06

LOL
And school's pretty good, but I don't like public school. The lockers are ancient and I'm convinced the doors are going to break off one day or the other. Eh, what can I do? I can't wait 'til winter break, though.
But I can't say the same thing about everything else. I babysit these two kids, and the younger one can give a bottle of aspirins a headache, I swear. Some days it's not really worth a hundred bucks a week. And if I can figure out how to fill out these damn forms on my desk, I might be able to take the SATs a few years early, just to see what it's like. It's part of this big program, which can't make regular forms that don't use every single word in the stinkin' dictionary.

Best of luck to you. It would be in your favor to get them done early.
I always hated public schools, as well. Make sure you stay in touch.
If you have any trouble, let me know.

If I could fall into the sky do you really think God would let time pass me by?

I enjoyed reading this. There is some really tight imagery going on here.
I'm interested to know why you broke the flow with a comma at the end of each line, it was an intersting literary device.
I'll be sure to look up more of your work, if it's all of this standard you're on to a winner!
Thanks for sharing.

Poetry is just the evidence of life. If your life is burning well, poetry is just the ash.
