I am often told that I am strong. I haven't been through the serious situations you have faced, but I've had my share of tough times. I never thought of myself as strong either. I just get through it. What other choice do I have?
I understand exactly what you are saying.
It does make me very, very tired at times. And I don't want anyone to hold me up an example of someone who is strong. It forces me to hold it all in and appear to be strong. Sometimes I want to get up on the mountain and simply scream my head off.
