MEDICAL ALERT!!!

Post by bags123 » Fri Nov 07, 2008 10:33 am

MEDICAL ALERT

The Center for Disease Control has issued a medical alert about a
highly contagious, potentially dangerous virus that is transmitted
orally, by hand, and even electronically.

This virus is called Weary Overload Recreational Killer (WORK). If you
receive WORK from your boss, any of your colleagues or anyone else via
any means whatsoever - DO NOT TOUCH IT. This virus will wipe out your
private life completely.

If you should come into contact with WORK you should immediately leave
the premises. Take two good friends to the nearest grocery store and
purchase one or both of the antidotes - Work Isolating Neutralizer
Extract (WINE) and Bothersome Employer Elimination Rebooted (BEER).

Take the antidote repeatedly until WORK has been completely eliminated
from your system.

You should immediately forward this medical alert to five friends. If
you do not have five friends, you have already been infected and WORK is
controlling your life.

Is this an honest, unbiased accounting ... or are you just a lazy bum who doesn't want to work for a living.

I hear there's a lot of the latter going around.
Something like 16 percent of our work force is currently sitting on their collective asses.

Unemployment has it's attractions ... but that's no way to deal with a recession.

Honestly,.....work is getting more and more boring the older I get. I'm seriously considering retiring at 60. If I make it to 70 in one piece I'll be happy. That's kind of my goal. To live to at least 70 in relatively good health. 16 more years to go,.... I'd like to at least have 10 or so to do what I please.

I don't know about stats ... but judging from the men my oldest daughter is always drawn to ... Gordy's stats may be right on. Capable men who simply love to live off women. Always got some excuse as to why they keep losing jobs ... makes me amazed I've been employed for the past 35 years.

I think eating right and moderate exercise are the two most important things for guys our age.
And a positive attitude helps.

Every night before I go to sleep,... I take a few minutes to kind of assess the day,....mentally. " Damn,...when are you gonna wise up and quit smoking? What an idiot!!! Exercise!! You could easily lose 25 lbs or so. Tommorrow you're gonna get your lazy ass in gear. Go out to the barn,.... find that stationary bike,.... and do 20 minutes every morning. Also gotta remember to drink alot more water. I'll be glad when it's warm enough to play tennis again. Hmmmm,... I wonder if there's any ice cream left? Tommorrow for sure though" !

"Tommorrow for sure though" !
Seems we've got the same motto Bags....
... and his words purge up and outward,
expelled and onward through desert dust swallowed,
sands he says that gorge on simple sensibilities.
And, now he spits fragments, grit, extended vowels and elongated syllables
over cracked lips. Their sounds fall
piling round his boots…
