Frosted Flakes are Grreat too.. and all they do is sit in a box.. hehe... though they are the best tasting Flake cereal ever created... notice i said flake.. i think what Wats was trying to say was,
"Terry, you are a flake.. you are the very definition of what a 'flakey' personality is.. you should be ashamed and scower, hide forever in shame and never talk to anyone.."
but i dont agree Wats... put Tom back on the phone...

Today there's help

Post by Debbie » Wed Jan 19, 2005 6:12 am

I never noticed this forum before, it just seemed to pop up today in front of me.

It is so wonderful to see there is someone who cares today.
Tears flooded my soul, as I read Ravyn, I guess my memories sort of flashed before me.. for my child hood nightmares of sexual abuse to,
my many wrong choices of men and physical and sexual abuse.
Not mentioning this because I desire a shoulder only because I can read and understand what this forum is all about.
I feel this overwhelming urge to cry, tears are streaming down my cheeks and right now I can't comprehend why.
Only that maybe mabe I feel what they have and are going through
or tis a moment that my many scares haven't healed to.
What ever the case I say this is a welcoming forum,
Where if feel strength and ambition from those who care a place safe and warm

We all have a story don't we.
God bless you

cheers Debbie, actually i hope more people will indeed share their pasts with us... but like you said, you dont want the attention of being a 'victim' or making it sound like a cry for attention... but this is like the one place where it doesnt matter, your past.. nadda... doesnt matter in any way except for the fact that with more stories of broken homes, sexual abuse, etc. we can earn the trust of people who are going through this right now.. cause ultimately, they are the ones we want in here.. we want em to have someplace to come, to feel safe... so by all means Debbie, dont ever think that we read the tales of peoples lives in this forum and think, "drama hungry'... cause if someone ever did that, id have to hurt em...

thief of dreams

Post by Debbie » Wed Jan 19, 2005 2:45 pm

Hi there thiefofdreams
Thankyou for posting me. If I feel led I'll write something. I do have a poem I did for the Save The Children Foundation here in Ontario.
Actually the one poem is in Tribute Forum this poem is hanging all over the place. If you have time read it ok.
The other poem is about the young man who approached me to write something for him.
He came to my kiosk in the mall, we connected because I knew what he was feeling. I held this 32 year old in my arms like my own son and he cried I didn't care who was looking this happens all the time at my kiosk.
Anyhow I wrote the two poems. Maybe you'd like to read his also. I'll put it in Tribute also. If you think they should be moved to Ravy'ns nest go ahead. As for my story I'll pray about it ok. Lots of deep wounds for me to many years of it.

Thanks for posting me once again.
