thanks Script.. i also found some other shelters and such in AK...

also, this list will never be finished... not because im lazy and dont want to do it but because there will always be new shelters going up all over.. or so i hope... i will dig a little deeper and try an find more actual shelters per state as time allows... but this should be a starting point.. as well as any info posted on getting help of any kind... it is all an ongoing project and will never be finished.. cause we dont like the term, 'finished' it is as solid a word as ever there was one and also a word that means an end... there will never be an end until everyone is safe.. every last soul... only then will we consider the project as 'finished'...

Here's another one for Washington. It's only for teens and youth, which is not an easy thing to find. Not sure what you'd like to say about it, but I think it should be put in the state listings. It's an awesome place- I know, I used to volunteer there!

And... here is a directory that gives information on several homeless shelter locations and community service programs for all ages:

Just to let everyone know...It was I Script% whom started the original 'Guest' Message here...Since that time they have Totally & Completely Rebuilt The Brother Francis Shelter in Anchorage, Alaska! Man Is It Cool!!! I haven't had more than just a visit to the Main Social Area for some 'Grub' but it is Absolutely Beautiful!!! Don't really know about the new 'Rules & Regulations' concerning staying there as of now...

I found an 'International Homeless Forums' site http://forums.homeless.org.au/.

This has links to resources for homeless people as well as advice; real-life stories; news; chat and other stuff. As the name suggests it is not aimed at a specific region but is global.

I've had a look around 'The Ravyn's Wings' and can't see it mentioned anywhere already. Hope it is useful.
