A documentary film about the life of Sholem Aleichem. Who's your favorite American poet?

Ireland. The Irish are much friendlier than the English. Especially that Queen of theirs. Never even invited me for afternoon tea when I was last in London. Disgraceful if you ask me.

Excepting the Hebrew Bible (Torah), I have to say J.D. Salinger's 'Raise High the Roof Beam, Carpenters.' Who is your favorite 19th century poet?

Metrical, rhyming or semi-rhyming or not rhyming -- and short unless it's like The Rime of the Ancient Mariner or The Raven -- something riveting -- with good form: clear enough?

What is your favorite 19th century Poem?
