Poetry Pages special programs

Post by heinzs » Sun Jul 26, 2009 11:53 am

The Poetry Pages Poet Laureate program has run its course and is hereby disbanded due to lack of interest and participation. From this point forward future Poets Laureate will be selected at random or by nomination from amongst their peers and without a semi-annual term of office. It was fun while it lasted. Thanks to all who participated in the program!

I am, and always will be, still open for nominations for "Poet of the Month" and "Poem of the Month". If something strikes you as particularly artistic or otherwise "juicy" feel free to give it a nomination.

Buttons makes me think of belly buttons.

Do smilies have belly buttons? They do procreate with the push of a button.

Sometimes I think I should be in Poetry Pages special programs, if you know what I mean. Do we have one for those of us who have lost their muse. Oh yeah! it's called floundering endless in Open Discussions and I'm not referring to a flat fish. Take Care
Take me back, so far back, adjust this fate. Afeared lately of pen, in abscence of light. The fear I might stumble upon a plagiarized soul. Wipe this dark slate clean, regain my thought. Add the words that rekindle my depth of soul.

Hello ET, I hope he practiced the proper rutting ritual, before introducing himself to the Buffalo. I've always admired the pre-dating rituals of the male Moose. Dig a hole urinate in it, roll around in it and take to the woods looking for that perfect mate. I think Bullwinkle forgot to put on his eye glasses after his cologne. Or maybe He's trying to change his luck.
