group writing question
Hi - Not sure where to post this: I'm leading a workshop & want to use a group writing experience where you write something (one sentence?) & then pass your paper on to the next person & keep going around the table. I did this years ago & it was fun but I can't remember exactly how it works. Do you write only one sentence? Do you read the previous sentence so there is some connection (but not too much) to what was previously written? any ideas? thanks.

Re: group writing question
Hey Paresh.
I don't know if there are official rules. When I've participated in similar exercises, I read the previous line (but not necessarily lines).
It might be fun to do different ways and then compare the outcomes.

We have done this, many years ago. One of the other elders might remember more about how and where we did it. Take Care
Take me back, so far back, adjust this fate. Afeared lately of pen, in abscence of light. The fear I might stumble upon a plagiarized soul. Wipe this dark slate clean, regain my thought. Add the words that rekindle my depth of soul.

Re: group writing question
The next person in the queue does read the previous posting and adds his/her line/sentence/verse based on what they think/feel. We have created several very long "poems" this way here on the Pages, as well as stories we call "role play" that are a bit more complex than the one-line per person concept. You can set your own rules for the project.
Good luck!
