It's officially the weekend, night owls and insomniacs. So stay up and listen to us because it's not like you've got to work tomorrow and even if you do, do you really give a :badword:... Saturn Radio..

First a little something for those travelling this weekend, something that would probably seem all too familiar with a few of you...

Hey there all my night owls and insomniacs... It's another late night show with the one and only LadySaturn... That's right you're listening to Saturn Radio where we tell it like is and don't give a :badword: ... Now time for some tunes...

First up with all that is going on in Washington, I thought I'd play this song because every time I hear it, it reminds me of the cats in D.C go figure..

http://youtu.be/_BqSOn78L9Y

Now here are some other tunes you might enjoy

http://youtu.be/Xdm8SgMMhdM
http://youtu.be/5nUuBjz4Vhc
http://youtu.be/96BAdNozO3M

Psst, just so everyone knows I was working on Poetry Familia 18 when the last song on the list above started to play. Freaked me the hell out.

One of my uncles used to preach on Sundays on the radio, he sometimes sent me casette tapes of his sermons. If I was his musical director I'd line up the following

Oh well, Fleetwood Mac, oh well Fleetwood Mac................. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O8RhZDGLEXM

Takin you to Sunday School, James Ingram & Michael MacDonald, Ya Mo Be There......... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7HbbM-FG8lQ

And the Wilburys laying down a beat that I often use when writing lyrics...........Tweeter and the Monkey Man..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ReQsRgQXgQY

Some Rival Sons and Keep On Swingin.................. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ijOlAR3zs8

A little more eastern flavor in the metaphysical mix with the Allmans Derek Trucks and Sahib Teri Bandi........http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N65cP52NC8s

On todays Lunch Hour we'll toy with Mother Nature for a bit with a couples of tunes: Crack The Sky- From The Green House http://youtu.be/jPXdaffq5bw
Followed up by Al Gores inspired Mellissa Etheridge- I Need To Wake Up http://youtu.be/JUVqUz8m2PQ
How about a golden oldie Supremes tune that even my band covered back in the sixties. Here's one of the best/ Vanilla Fudge- You Keep Me Hanging On
http://youtu.be/LdLRoOYk50o
I stumbled upon this tribute to Janis Joplin by Melissa Etheridge and Joss Stone http://youtu.be/ef-f-l2Pbn8
I've uploaded a lot of my old albums to my IPOD, been listening while at the gym this gives me three hours every other day to catch up on some pretty cool shit and makes working out a breeze. Working on the Pond Garden Railroad and the rest of the gardening chores, time spent in the Sun gives me a icky feeling. The Sun doesn't feel the same anymore it use to invigorate me now it nauseates me. This made me start thinking way back to Crack The sky's- From The Green House album which was way before it's time in writing. I then of course included something inspired by Al Gores - An In Convenient Truth. Doctors this year are recommending sun screen greater than 15spf and one half of a tube per day if you are exposing yourself to the Sun. Have a safe Summer Take Care
Take me back, so far back, adjust this fate. Afeared lately of pen, in abscence of light. The fear I might stumble upon a plagiarized soul. Wipe this dark slate clean, regain my thought. Add the words that rekindle my depth of soul.

From: Summers Discontent 7-24-02

Sincerely

Michael J Pease

She's foxy alright MJ and so is:

Vancouvers Miss Sarah McLachlin: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nSz16ngdsG0

Just down the road in Seattle, the Wilsons; also known as Heart: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JK_DOJa99oo

The soulful Sade: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_WcWHZc8s2I

The wistful Bonnie Raitt: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nW9Cu6GYqxo

A playful Erykah Badu : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-CPCs7vVz6s

I have to mention this sultry Vancouver Island woman, who I've managed to see three times in the past three years, which I guess, qualifies me as a groupie: Ms Krall: http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=7sx ... =endscreen

Some amazing women in our culture..a claim so very few other societies can make; with their religious taboos and cultural mysogyny repressing half the human race. I'm so greatful for these women and the separation of church and state that allows their freedom of expression.

It's that time of night again my insomniacs and night owls when sleep won't come and not even the left over potato salad from the Memorial BBQ will put you to sleep... But no worries because you're listen Saturn Radio. And unlike that leftover potato salad, we won't backfire on you in the morning.... Now back to the tunes...
