Patootie Poets

Post by bags123 » Thu May 26, 2011 8:57 am

Why are all poets patooties? I've asked that question of myself a number of times, and so far I've yet to come up with a good answer. Maybe it's because I'm more of a lyricist? Or perhaps it's just that I'm offended at the prospect of being called a" patootie". Nevertheless,....... What was I saying? Yup,...some things will remain an eternal mystery I suppose. :computer: Kind of like the Kabbalah. Some pretty weird stuff there. I guess it would have to be pretty strange to attract the likes of Madonna. No? My favorite religious cult were those Heavens Gate loonies out in California a few years back. I guess they blended in quite well out there. I had heard that some of the male members (no pun intended) were willingly castrated because the head loony said that they needed to assume a more asexual appearance. Boy,...that's some devotion there. Got to respect that. I guess. :?:

Define patootie. That must be some East coast word we haven't discovered yet on the Left coast.

I personally know of patooties on the left coast, as well as the east coast. They may not have originated there,....but their populations seem to be growing everywhere.

Actually I have heard an expression like "You can bet your sweet patootie on that". In that case I think it's fairly clear what the "patootie" was referring to...

True but with Bagsy you never know, Pops. :hello: I mean one minute he could be talking about the 70's and the next he's on one of his Irish rants. :hello:

Hey LadyS My first thought honestly was the Son of a gun is drunk again  Go figure "Patootie Poets" I secretly always wanted to be a sweetheart pretty girl poet or better yet a corrupted Mr. sweet potato head paperback writer  Take Care All
Take me back, so far back, adjust this fate. Afeared lately of pen, in abscence of light. The fear I might stumble upon a plagiarized soul. Wipe this dark slate clean, regain my thought. Add the words that rekindle my depth of soul.

Sincerely
