Poet Laureate Program

The 'Poet Laureate' idea was conceived in a tripartite communique (a poetic manage a trois?) between myself, Ven and Heinz.
The seed for this idea came from yours truly. I basically figured 'well the Queen of England has a Poet Laureate, why shouldn't we have one!?'

And so it is that OUR Laureate shall be held in the prestige of all Cyberdom, and shall forever push the frontiers of excellence in poetry, (for six months, at any rate).
do not shirk from the honour bestowed, you, who will be the luckiest, the first. the First Laureate, who would be etched in the Hall of Laureates. No greater esteem for a devotee of Ars Poetica, or The Pages.

This is the nomination and election forum for the Poetry Pages Poet Laureate. This forum will be active during the election process and for the term of the current Poet Laureate, after which it will be consolidated as an archive and made available for the next Poet Laureate election process.
