Nite Lite
She dreams at night of days ahead
With pillows laid on flower beds
Under a dark, and starry deep
Each night the earth returns to sleep
The moon comes back to mind the nest
At some divinities request
To be earth's gaurdian overnight,
and should she wake, provide some light
Under a dark, and starry deep
Where earth is always prone to sleep
With pillows laid on flower beds
She dreams at night of days ahead

A lovely nocturne. A restful thing. Peaceful writing -- peaceful reading. --David

Reminds me that, "moon" and "june" still have their place in poetry!
