This is basically how i am thinking of laying out my book ... any thoughts or suggestions are most welcome! The scribbles marked ** aren't posted here at the pages ... yet/anymore. I will possibly add them at a later date ... but not all at once so as to flood the market ... so to speak lol

"Riding the Cyclone"
A collection of scribbles

This book has been eight years in the making. It is mostly a jumble of thoughts written down in old spiral notebooks and hidden in the bottom drawer underneath various manuals for software packages and hardware long since turned obsolete. I owe the inspiration for compiling all of this into one volume to many people. First of all I would like to thank Rachel for believing in me, Judy for taking Rachel's belief and turning it into an opportunity for a real life, and David for being a kind of "father" to me these past seven years. Alexsya, for staying by my side through thick and thin, good and bad, hideous and beautiful; we are birds of a feather, you and I, now let us fly free. Kate and Ken, for being there when I needed support. Everyone at The Poetry Pages, you are my inspiration, my hope and my will to continue on. Finally, Lisa, Serena and Sarah, I can't express in mere words how much I love you. You are my life, my reason, my "wings" and my soul. May each person take from this book something to call their own, a little hope, a little insight, a little inspiration to help those in need. Remember to love each other, all of you, all of us.

ok i kinda changed my archive thingie around and kinda made a bit of a preview of my (someday to be published) book. anyone who wants to give me feedback on the layout of the poems in the book ... which ones to leave in ... take out ... add ... etc. is welcome to do so

k so ... it looks like this book will never reach completion ... i am going to put the forward i wrote at the top of the list of scribbles ... you can all pretend it is published and that you are reading an actual book ;o) i'm sorry ... i just don't have the energy or the will to finish

I already have a word template set up for formatting poetry books. I can very easily get this into a book format ready to be published. Just say the word.

you have my permission on one condition ... if there are ever any proceeds from it ... they will be split up as follows

one third to go to a homeless shelter of your choice

one third to go to a battered women's shelter of your choice

one third to be split between berlie heinz erin and ven ... and whoever else works on this ...

thank you for taking this on yourselves ... you have my gratitude and my love forever
