<font color="#DEDFDF">visage from the crypt</font>
<font color="#990000">facing the rising sun
<font color="#DEDFDF">blood red and bloated</font>
marking a new day
<font color="#DEDFDF">full of torment and despair</font>
capturing my thoughts
<font color="#DEDFDF">loathsome and darkling</font>
winging them aloft
<font color="#DEDFDF">clutched in the vulture's talons</font>
holding them suspended
<font color="#DEDFDF">dangling from the gibbet</font>
as warmth flows
<font color="#DEDFDF">red from my opened wrists</font>
down upon my soul
<font color="#DEDFDF">shrivelled and damned</font>
i close my eyes
<font color="#DEDFDF">let the pain wash over me</font>
and slip away once again
<font color="#DEDFDF">for the last time</font>

author's note: this is actually like 2 poems combined ... i wonder who can find both ...

lolol i was trying not to be too obvious ... but maybe i should give more detailed instructions!

all you really have to do is highlight the whole poem to see what's hidden between the lines ... if you need instructions on highlighting text i can give you those too ... hehehehehe

thanks phoenix and terry!

how did i do it???? ummm it's a secret! lol actually it's just a matter of matching the font color to the background with html tags. someone at my other poetry site wrote one called invisible and the whole text matches the background so until you highlight it ... it looks like a blank page. pretty cool!

awesome and original jenn.....great vivid descriptions. hope everything is going well :)
How could anyone ever tell you,
you were anything less than beautiful,
How could anyone ever tell you,
you were less than whole
How could anyone fail to notice
that your loving is a miracle
How deeply you're connected
to my soul
