A foretaste of what is to come.
Terzanelle format
New snow that’s fallen overnight.
I woke to find to my surprise.
A winter world of virgin white.
A sight to please an artists eyes.
A scene of pure simplicity.
Inspiring me to take my pen.
Begin to write immediately.
Of how I felt to see again.
The beauty of new fallen snow.
Inspiring me to take my pen
And write the only way I know
Well chosen words meant to describe
The beauty of new fallen snow.
It gives me pleasure to inscribe
Well chosen words meant to describe.
New snow that’s fallen overnight
A winter world of virgin white.

I thought the poem was terrific. I've never head of that poetic form before. It sounds like a type of pasta.
" I'll have the Tersanelle with white clam sauce please"
