the wind among the reeds-----(THE BOOK)

He tells of the perfect Beauty(title of poem)
........................
...................................

O cloud-pale eyelids,dream-dimmed eyes,
the poets labouring all their days
to build a perfect beauty in rhyme
are overthown by a woman`s gaze.
And by the unlabouring brood of the skies:
and therefore my heart will bow, when dew
is dropping sleep, until God bur time,
before the unlabouring stars and you.
i saw the body of your spirit ..my friend
sometimes you scared me
sometimes i touch you..sometimes i love you

Here one more.
..........
...................The wild swans at COOL(book)
PRECENCES(title of poem)

This night has been so strange that it seemed
As if the hair stood up on my head.
From going-down of the sun i have dreamed
that women laughing,or timid or wild,
in rustle of lace or silken stuff,
climbed up my creeking stair. They had read
all i had rhymed of that monstrous thing.
Returned and yet untreguited love.
They stood in the door and stood between.
My great wood lectern and the fire
till i could hear their hearts beating:
One is a harlot,and one a child
that never looked upon man with desire,
and one,it may be,a gueen.
i saw the body of your spirit ..my friend
sometimes you scared me
sometimes i touch you..sometimes i love you

The wild swans at COOLE(1919)

The Scolars----(title of poem)

Bald heads forgetful of their sins
old,learned,respectable bald heads
edit and annotate the lines
That young men, tossing on their beds,
Rhymed out in love`s despair
to flatter beauty`s ignorant ear.

All shuffle there?all cough in ink?
All wear the carpet with their shoe?
All think what other people think?
All know the man their neighbour knows.
Lord,what would they say
Did their Catullus walk that way?
i saw the body of your spirit ..my friend
sometimes you scared me
sometimes i touch you..sometimes i love you
