Terza Sonnet

Post by richie » Sun Mar 19, 2006 12:36 am

Lines 1 and 3 rhyme with each other and line 2 sets up the Rhyme for next stanza. There can be any number of tercets of three lines. If a couplet is added as I have done it would be e-e and in this Case we end up with 14 lines and make it ideal to a sonnet form.

TERZA RIMA SONNET

Her heavenly face, welcomes me
Trembling, falling as I always do,
tasting her kisses, given readily.

Aching we sway, on wings that flew
Clothes falling like leaves, fluttering down,
Two hearts convulsing, loving you.

Exploring her beauty, again newly found
uniting our passions, as only lovers share,
Lost in each other, without a sound.

Caressing silently through her auburn hair
our pleasure fulfilled, in contented bliss,
then nestling my sweetheart flushed and fair.

The thoughts of each heavenly kiss,
two lovers united in perfect bliss.
