Through Rage And Pain

Post by mdmorash » Wed Nov 09, 2005 12:46 am

Through rage and pain now blind eyes see.
Don't try to hide all you have done,
No place to hide, no place to run.
For only this will set me free.
And nothing less will let me be,
But darkness burned away to sun,
Through rage and pain.

I won't forget this face is me;
Nor will I fear the silent gun,
That starts the race in which I run.
Though time will have me more than flee,
Through rage and pain.

Humor is the only test of gravity, and gravity of humor; for a subject which will not bear raillery is suspicious, and a jest which will not bear serious examination is false wit.

Aristotle (384 BC - 322 BC)

How poor are they who have not patience! What wound did ever heal but by degrees.
-- William Shakespeare
