Quickest
Slickest
Slowest

I stand in the Quickest, Slickest bog
Looking for the Slowest Lowest frog

Eh?

I might be too thick to understand this write... please elaborate...
And as I watch you in this light
I never realized your eyes were full of
So many colors.

Hi Gillian & FF

A Tyburn is a six line poem consisting of 2, 2, 2, 2, 9, 9 syllables @ aabbcc

The first four lines are all descriptive words of 2 syllables.

The last two lines rhyme and incorporate the first, second, third, and fourth lines as the 5th through 8th syllables.

Try it...... you might like it

Thanks Shane. I'm math challenged. Doesn't it get tiresome following the 'rules' of all the different formats? Seems you have to spend all your time counting. Haiku even baffles me.

I love structure in poetry, Gillian

A day without structure is a day without sunshine.... haha!!!

I've got 90 styles on my computer poetry records. Haiku can be terrifying for some people to get a hold of as well. Like most things, you start small and build from there, however haiku is one of the smallest styles ever but it the hardest to master

Keep an eye out for my poetry threads as I'll be introducing the 90 styles from time to time

Kick us with some styles. I'm intrigued.

I must admit to laughing smiles, though I didn't know the form, Shane. Ha, again I chuckle as I reread... You've 'captured' the form marvelously!

A slick frog you are...
