HeartBreaker [two Quinzaines combined]

Post by Jade » Sun Sep 05, 2004 11:28 am

heartbreaker

He said today he loves me.
Will he love me still
when it ends?
I will not love another.
Must I break a heart
once again?
sticks and stones are hard on bones
aimed with angry art,
words can sting like all things
but it's silence that breaks the heart

Nicely formed!

I really need to refresh myself on all the different forms of poetry. I've forgotten them all. :darn:
