Longing

I wish I could escape from you just a little bit more.
The more noise I make the less you feel real.
Everyone keeps asking.
What feels like a fly is creeping down my face.

The more noise I make the less you feel real.
Here come on the tears.
What feels like a fly is creeping down my face.
And you are real again.

Here come on the tears.
We are on two opposite sides of a sticky web.
And you are real again.
You have yet to figure out what you are made of.

We are on two opposite sides of a sticky web.
I can’t make you more than you can see in you.
You have yet to figure out what you are made of.
But, I continue to hope that you will see yourself reflecting in a lake.

I can’t make you more than you can see in you.
So I sit back quietly, waiting from more from you.
But, I continue to hope that you will see yourself reflecting in a lake.
Unsure you will ever make it.

So I sit back quietly, waiting from more from you.
Everyone keeps asking.
Unsure you will ever make it.
I wish I could escape from you just a little bit more.

Wow. A difficult form done so well is really a treat. You kept it fresh even though many of the lines repeat. Brilliant...Bravo!

Humor is the only test of gravity, and gravity of humor; for a subject which will not bear raillery is suspicious, and a jest which will not bear serious examination is false wit.

Aristotle (384 BC - 322 BC)

How poor are they who have not patience! What wound did ever heal but by degrees.
-- William Shakespeare
