Words Now Silent, Though Frightened, Stay

Post by mdmorash » Mon Aug 09, 2004 4:00 pm

In the night, there I try to show,
All the truths that you’ll never know;
Those things I’ve seen, but could not say,
Words now silent, though frightened, stay.

Once upon a time things were good,
Then came the things that never should.
There lost within the death of day,
Words now silent, though frightened, stay.

All I wanted was to be true,
Although my words, they somehow knew.
And all the verses to this play,
Words now silent, though frightened, stay.

In the night I try to show,
Words now silent, though frightened, stay.

Humor is the only test of gravity, and gravity of humor; for a subject which will not bear raillery is suspicious, and a jest which will not bear serious examination is false wit.

Aristotle (384 BC - 322 BC)

How poor are they who have not patience! What wound did ever heal but by degrees.
-- William Shakespeare
