My vision's blind, I cannot see.
Condemned to wander through my plight,
Now all my demons breaking free,
To take my mind, but leave my site.
For once I thought that I could be,
But then to see, I had no light.
My vision's blind, I cannot see,
Condemned to wander through my plight.
So then I tried to set me free,
Though long ago I’d lost the fight.
And while I tried, I could not see,
The forest for the trees that night.
My vision's blind, I cannot see.

Humor is the only test of gravity, and gravity of humor; for a subject which will not bear raillery is suspicious, and a jest which will not bear serious examination is false wit.
Aristotle (384 BC - 322 BC)
How poor are they who have not patience! What wound did ever heal but by degrees.
-- William Shakespeare

aimed with angry art,
words can sting like all things
but it's silence that breaks the heart
