Skin

Post by Gingy » Fri Jan 27, 2006 12:36 am

What colour is your skin?
Are you white?
Are you black?
Are you purple with spots?
How can you say the exact colour?
You could have red skin,
yellow skin,
blue skin,
pink skin,
green skin,
any skin.
Does it change the fact,
you're human?
they're human,
we're human,
I'm human.
What is it about the colour of skin?
Why are we different?
How can you judge on the colour of skin?
Would you like me to label you
Black
White or
Yellow?
Respect each other whatever your colour.
Remeber whose world you belong to.
People are going to see you, how they want to see you. Everyone is different and unique in their own way. But the people who love you and care about you, are whose opinions really matter.

Humble words of discipline. Real.

A well expressed poem with a broad perspective.
"Born into
these crooked ways.
I never even asked to come,
so now I'm living in the days.
I struggle and fight
to stay alive,
hoping that one day
I earn my chance to die..."
