I would pursue it but be sure to ask lots of questions. First sign of trouble is if they ask you for money for them to publish your poetry...

Thanks Kim, I do some online research and see if I can find out anything about them and maybe then email them on the weekend.

I did some research and your instincts were correct. Poetry.com and Noble House are the same thing.

Volume two is in the works and contributors have been selected and most have paid their fees. The only way a slot would open up there is if there is a glitch in the payments or someone withdraws.

Keep an eye out for volume three, Floe and Brezz. These get "easier" to put together as we go along and become more organized. I'm going to float the concept that vol. three will be composed of "new voices from around the world" so that anyone who is in vol 1 AND 2 should give a space to a "newbie". But that's going to be some months down the road.

Stay active, stay with it, stay alert. With only 20 spaces they fill up pretty fast.

You can also go to your local Borders and have them order it for you, then pick it up in the store when you pay.

Here's a link to ordering from Borders:

Poetry Pages

And here's where to order it through our printer (it's cheaper and we get more back. Also you can buy an electronic version for about $5)

First Books
