leaves never fall
they are pushed
tumbling into
gravity's hold
and merciless
winter.

Take me back, so far back, adjust this fate. Afeared lately of pen, in abscence of light. The fear I might stumble upon a plagiarized soul. Wipe this dark slate clean, regain my thought. Add the words that rekindle my depth of soul.

Kind of has an oriental flavor to this one Michael. I like it.

Hello moonflower, Valerie short and meaningful is the intention. I hope the meaning is not ambiguous. I was shooting for narcissistic short and sweet accuracy. Thanks and Take Care

I like it very much,
I like short and to the point.
I liked the form and the
sound of it out loud.

Hi, MjPease!

I have to say that I really like this short poem and the image it paints. I like the thought that the leaf hangs on until it is pushed. I have written poems with similar images! Thanks for the excellent read!
