yes. great. however, i must admit it's kinda hard to love
someone as they are breaking in your house ,
or taking you for all you own or just fill in this blank
space _________ with
any other desease you can think up your fellow
man is peddling at your doorstep at knifepoint.
so many of which are rooted in love or hate.
i hate love i hate hate. they are both
totaly destructave and irrisponsable.
worthless. though the golden rule is imperfect
it's what i believe in instead .
sorry for venturing into the subject matter.
the form is great here.

Well Zero, I'm sure you've heard the old saw about a fine line between love and hate and in some ways I agree for both emotions come from within not from without. True we always seem to find someone to focus upon or trigger that which awaits within but to blame others for our responses be it love or hate is disengenuous.

We have a choice always, people don't just fall in love anymore than they happen to fall into hate. The golden rule works because the other soul you love or hate is really a mirror of yourself. The Mayan used to greet each other with words that translated to "hello to my other self" and the hindu says "Namaste" meaning the divine within me sees and honors the divine in you.

So, if we choose a non dualist outlook then by allowing the love within us to come out is in a powerful way, honoring others as well as ourselves and whatever divine power transcends us both. To allow hate to uncoil from within is hatred for all without understanding our own predicament.

Course you can always blame some nefarious power if you really want a cop out.

Thanks for reading.

i like the myan description you gave. my reply was too cut and dry.
but i'm sure the point was understood. i believe hate and
love are both personal lusts. when we love
we need and disire, just as we do when we hate too.
my hands have been tied by others and i've been marked many times
under the guise of love and morality. so my opinion is
seasoned maybe too bitterly. or maybe it's all on
me , maybe my soul is too black for me to see it's core.

I think we often see ourselves too critically, Zero, like a slight blemish magnified in the bathroom mirror that no one else notices because they don't focus on others imperfections.

Nothing and no one is perfect until you love them. This applies to first cause and it's constituents as well, I think. I also suspect our possesive emotions are a result of fear. Sometimes hate and sometimes a facsimile of love are based on fear.

There is only one divine commandment in my lexicon...thou shalt not fear...the other 10 are just symptoms of that.

Out in the rainforests
Utopia maybe is closer to her
Listen at the voice inside
