More Than I'll Admit

Post by bags123 » Tue Dec 31, 2013 5:35 am

More Than I'll Admit

All those years ago, when pleasure spawned our wit
With you alone, and smiling where we'd sit
The white sweater that you wore was double knit
I remember even more than I'll admit

All those years ago, before our love had quit
I remember even more than I'll admit
Not that I would ever wish to recommit
Good memories still survive despite your shit
I prefer to keep an open mind,....but not so much that my brains fall out.- Carl Sagan

Darn good write, bags123
It got me rhyming immediately
Love your poems
Their rhyme, they're meter
I don't see how they could be much sweeter

Ok, that's it.
I'm writing poetry to a guy
O M G

Is that a good critique
or would you like to critique

Hello Bags, A pretty whimsical piece from you my friend. Take Care
Take me back, so far back, adjust this fate. Afeared lately of pen, in abscence of light. The fear I might stumble upon a plagiarized soul. Wipe this dark slate clean, regain my thought. Add the words that rekindle my depth of soul.

From: Summers Discontent 7-24-02

Sincerely

Michael J Pease
