i wrote this a long time age in my recovery

Post by Moushka » Wed Sep 15, 2010 5:04 pm

There once was a man named Obama.
His name sounds a lot like Osama.
Some, want to picket,
Shot a deer in a thicket,
da da - da da- da da da- da da da.

Please, help me with the last line. :soapbox: :hearts: :hugs:

No, you didn't offend anyone. I just can't kick a rhyme scheme. Been looking at it and my mind goes.....blank. Been in recovery, so I'm not knocking you at all.

I changed that line, I'm glad i did. I'll give some rhyming words that i thought of for the last line........trauma, da' lai llama,.....can't think of any more off the top of my head at this time....Give it a shot! if you want. I have been in recovery of a mental illness. Schizo-affective bipolar type. I recently quit drinking and doing well. I'm still not sure what I am going to do about marijuana. I have an apartment now, haven't signed a lease yet but know my credit qualified. Anyway, my apartment will be drug and alcohol free. I woke up at 4 this morning, am already tired. Whew!

Alright, try some free verse. It dosen't have to rhyme as long as you say what you want to. Trust me.
