Pondering What Dinosaur Did Wrong

Post by MJPease » Thu Jan 09, 2014 12:24 pm

Moon turned to Sun
Moon smiled then backed away
Earth nodded in total agreement
Sun warmed Earth with great expectations

Earths heart began to warm
Polar caps slowly began to melt
Rivers rose to meet the sea
Sea gave birth to intelligent life

Balance of nature was pure
Dinosaur began to roam the Earth
Heaven smiled for a while
Moon turned to the Sun

Fire rained down on Earth
Earth cried succumbed to fever
Volcanoes erupted simultaneously
Ash rose into space blocking Sun

Intelligent life sought refuge in the sea
Earths fever broke into a chill
Earth plunged into a deep freeze
Mountains of expanding ice split crust

Moon turned to Sun
Moon smiled then backed away
Earth nodded in total agreement
Sun warmed Earth with Great expectations.

The Earth The Son and The Moon
Take me back, so far back, adjust this fate. Afeared lately of pen, in abscence of light. The fear I might stumble upon a plagiarized soul. Wipe this dark slate clean, regain my thought. Add the words that rekindle my depth of soul.

From: Summers Discontent 7-24-02

Sincerely
