Where are you?

Post by Black Star Shine » Fri Jan 06, 2012 5:49 pm

You're not here
I should know that

But you are

Really, you are.

You're in the window
looking out over here.
You're knocking on the door
so softly no one
but a musicians ear can hear.
You're scraping ice free
as I finish my hair.
You're elabortating tales
and making everyone laugh.

You're here.

You have to be...
Please just come over?
Please just come home?
Please just be alive....
again....

Yet flashing memories
red carpet
stiff bones
pajama clad
unfinished test
unmerciful tears
open coffin

Very heartfelt. Only poetry can express grief so beautifully.
