I talked to you
on the phone
and now you
are gone forever
but you left
and I didn't
say goodbye
before you
did now
i am all
alone without
you grampa

I miss you
so very much
and now
I will say
good bye

but its
not the
same thing
Good Bye
Grampa
I love you
so very much

Glad ya had him. I stood my Grandma up Thanksgiving 1995. She died Christmas Eve.
I can relate. It took a while but I came to understand that it wasn't her last moments
but all those moments that came before that mattered.
I'm glad I had her and I'm glad you had him.

I feel your pain about not being able to say that last goodbye. But you have to look at all the "Hello, Grandpa!" greetings you gave him when he was still alive! And all the great times you two had together. :hearts:
