Reflecting Absence

Post by BeeJay » Thu Sep 23, 2010 10:50 am

When loved ones walk no more
Their Steps never heard again
For ones that wait near the door
Distant eyes reflect absence strain.

When thoughts of loved ones
Make a day look lonely & long
Smile and have it made known
Life together was itself a song.

When images are held tenderly
In the corner of the mind
The heart beats ever so loudly
And worries are left behind.

When tears glide ever so slowly
Over how times together went
Time moves ever so softly
As if time itself was spent.

Memories are something we always live with. Maybe that's life. Thank you my friend for the empathy you always show. BeeJay
