Ellie Nash

Ellie Nash is an amazing person
Even though her attitude can worsen
Her mom pulls out the booze, drinks it at night
The house catches fire, She puts it out in fright
Her mind is brilliant, it's hidden inside
To cut deep or not, she cannot decide
She cuts her arm deep, cries out loud in pain
She doesn't want to go through this again
Ellie walks silently to the restroom
She had flunked another quiz once again
Ellie cuts her arm, bleeds into the sink
Paige walks in, she thinks she's gone insane
She sees blood in the sink, is it what she thinks?
Paige asks what's wrong, why is blood down the drain?
Ellie lies and says that she bumped her arm
Paige tells that's a lie as she walks away
After school, Paige went to see Ellie
She asks Ellie if she can keep a secret
Paige told Ellie of her past, Ellie said you can trust me
Ellie goes home, once again her mom is really drunk
Ellie has now thought that her life has sunk
"I am as bad as the worst, but, thank God, I am as good as the best." -Walt Whitman
