Airmail from the WTC

Post by Crooklyn » Thu Sep 11, 2008 8:47 am

Two pillars of smoke
Greasy and grey
Boil eastward over Manhattan

Now cross the river
A fluttering whiteness
The correspondence of the dead

This letter was never mailed
But I got the message

A lot said in a few words Crooklyn.

It's not much, but my heart goes out to you all that were there.

so many crying out against the war.. so few remember the anger.. the silent cries (and some not so silent) for immediate destructive action...

the memorial plans they are working on seem serene...
