Alone together

The emptiness still engulfs us
Our sleep is still interrupted
None of us can get over the crush

Court awaits and will decide his fate
Vengeance is that of the lord
But justice is in our hearts

His end will not help
His continued life will not help
His being has destroyed so many
Forgiving or not does not change anything

Never again will they feel a cool breeze
Never again will they feel a hot shower
Never again will they feel any of our worldly gems

We all are just alone together again.
