Up there, a great bird crossed the sky.
Down here, the earth shook to its foundations.
We, innocent children, rushed out and waved its tails,
And asked it to greet our grandmothers.
Over there, the great bird hit the land,
Scattered over its once a massive body.
Up now, vultures rove above,
For it was dusk already.
