God's Angel

[angelsbreath]

god blessed us with an angel
gave our angel wings to fly
then god stole our angel
made her sick and made her die
i really miss our angel
why do people have to die
our angel made us laugh
our angel made us cry
our angel lost her wings
and then our angel died
i remember what she gave me
to this day it makes me cry
the doll with the teardrop
crying for loss of the angel who died
i still keep close all the memories
the bad ones and the good times
i remember her laugh
i remember her sigh
i remember the day they called
to tell me she died
i sat in my room in a corner alone
there i sat, there i cried
i wont forget my mother, the look on her face
when they told her her mother had died
i wont forget the funeral
i let it go, i didnt mind
everyone, even the strong
stood there, stareing, broke down and cried
why'd god take our angel
why do people have to die
