May the heavens softly touch her wings
Shes in the clouds can you hear her sing
The smile is there the happiness did bring
She looks below and blesses the sight
She is glancing at the ones she loved
And spent time with her all her life
The dark grows late and the sun comes soon
There she is standing in your room
She leans by your bed
And gives you a kiss
Remembering all the moments like this
She smiles as she looks at you
And she leaves a note
Saying your the ones I will always care about the most
I may be gone but not forever
Cause someday we will be in heaven together

Very poignant tribute, amanda! You've expressed the sadness with that grain of heartfelt hope at the end that we all so desperately need.
An' it harm none, do what ye will. Blessed Be.
