Goodbye To Angus ( some foul language)

Goodbye to Angus (A Funeral Poem)

Respectfully, you must agree that Angus wasn't kind
He wasn't nice, as cold as ice, and often crossed the line
Where decency was all but whipped, and pummeled by his wit
I miss the bloody bastard now. Repulsive little shit.

Conjecturing what he'd say next. How shameless he could be
Would entertain all those who claimed to love his honesty
The frequency of his great quips has lengthened since he quit
I miss the bloody bastard now. Repulsive little shit.

Now everytime I sense a rhyme accented on my tongue
I'll think of him, as words pass through my lips where they once clung
Before he helped to pry them free, which helps me to admit;
I miss the bloody bastard now. Repulsive little shit
I prefer to keep an open mind,....but not so much that my brains fall out.- Carl Sagan

Is this Angus a Highland Parakeet and just who taught him that fowl language? I wonder.

Feathered or not, Angus sounds like someone I'd have a brew with.

Thanks Heinz and Et. Yes,...Angus was an odd sort,...but we all contribute something I suppose. Even if we don't realize it at the time.

I wonder what Angus thought of you?
I think perhaps you may do too.
A handy target for his wit
The sad repulsive little shit
