Sitting here quietly
in this dimly lit room,
Watching you sleep-
So grateful I am
for your self-sacrificing love

A scary night I had,
Yet comfort you provided,
easing me to sleep
As you stayed up to ensure
my well-being

And as these early hours
have rolled in
I look at you,
peacefully sleeping now;
And I thank Him
as He has blessed me
with your selfless love
and undying devotion

There are not words enough
to express my gratitude
For every single gesture
of the true agape
in which you give without hesitation
